The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community Resource Center held a successful 6th annual Golf Outing Fundraiser on Wednesday, June 10, at Hills’ Heart of the Lakes Course in Brooklyn. CRC has a volunteer who is willing to accept post-Milennium Computers, monitors, keyboards, input devices (Mice, trackballs, etc) in working condition; for refurbishing and distribution to folks unable to afford a computer otherwise. Kim Setzer, Vera Hutchenson, Gail Shadbolt, and Nikki Framand are weekly volunteers at the Community Resource Center Food Pantry. Plant a Row for the Hungry is a national program that encourages local gardeners to fight hunger in their communities. Locally, we can take part by growing and donating part of our harvest each year to the Community Resource Center Food Pantry.
