Free bike helmets were offered at the 2009 Extravaganza by the CRC from proceeds of Kiwanis Crazy Cash Night
Organizations from the Manchester Community Schools‘ Ackerson building including the Community Resource Center, will host their third annual Early Childhood Extravaganza on Thursday, March 18th from 2-7:30pm at 410 City Road, in Manchester.
This event is to highlight Manchester Preschools, as well as, community and county early childhood resources for families. The goal is to host a fun family event where parents can also receive helpful information and services.
Guests will include the Mason’s Michigan Child Identification Program, the Mobile Dentists’ Smile Program, vision testing by the Lion’s club, Public Health Children health insurance advocate, the Manchester District Library to name just a few.
Many, many more guests will be presenting and providing important resources for families. There will be activities for the children and snacks for all. We will once again offer an item exchange for children that includes clothing, equipment and toys. Donations can be brought to the Ackerson building the week prior to the event.This year we are also excited to offer door prizes sponsored by the Manchester Men’s Club and local businesses.
