The Community Resource Center is dependent on volunteer support in order to operate. Since we provide an array of assistance, we can put most talents and expertise to use. We are looking for the following:

• Golf Outing

          We need several volunteers for various jobs related to golf outing that we put on in June to raise    money to assist in needs that come up.  Job duties are attending planning meetings, soliciting prizes, and organize activities.  We also need people to man a golf hole the day of the event.

• Employment Assistant

                  Assist clients who are seeking employment with accessing relevant internet websites, preparing resumes, and developing computer skills.  You will be provided training.

• Newsletter Publisher

          Edit and create a quarterly CRC newsletter.  Be able to refine provided articles and information, edit, and add pictures.  Format articles into columns for a two page newsletter.

• Seniors 

Deliver Meals on Wheels to local homebound seniors

• Grant Writer

Assist the CRC in looking for grants that would assist us in providing programs needed in our community
Write grants that would bring assistance from other sources to Manchester

• Rebuilding Together

Formerly known as “Christmas in April”, this one-day effort the last Saturday in April brings together teams of people to rehabilitate and paint homes, clean yards, and do other minor repairs needed by those less fortunate in our Manchester community. This program is operated in cooperation with our local affiliate, Rebuilding Together Washtenaw – see http://rebuildingtogetherwashtenaw.org/.
