What is WIC, you ask?
WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children. It is the federal Nutrition Program for pregnant people, infants, and children. WIC allows you to buy up to $60 worth of food per enrolled person. For two WIC enrolled members in your family, you will receive up to $120 worth of healthy foods. WIC also provides resources to help your family maximize their health.
And who is eligible for this benefit?
People who are pregnant or have recently given birth and infants/children up to age 5 are eligible for WIC! Income eligibility requirements also apply.
